Most Evil is an American forensic television program on Investigation Discovery given by Forensic psychiatrist Michael Stone of Columbia University during seasons 1, 2, and 3 and by forensic psychologist Dr. Kris Mohandie during Season 4. At the show, the presenter assesses the murderer with the crime scale that Stone has developed. The show features profiles of various killers, serial killers, mass murderers, and psychopaths.

Scale and criminal
Stone examines hundreds of killers and their methods and motives for developing a "crime" hierarchy. Scale ranges from Category 1, those who kill to self-defense, to Category 22, serial torture killers. Other neurologists, psychologists and forensic psychiatrists were interviewed on the show in an attempt to examine and illustrate the thoughts of the notorious killers. The partial re-view is displayed along with news footage, evidence, and reports from the locals. Neurological, environmental, and genetic factors are examined to help determine what drives a person to kill. Background history and pre-meditation are considered when placing individuals on a crime scale. This event is indirectly related to the concept of morality and ethics.
