The 2014 Billboard Music Awards is a music awards ceremony held on May 18, 2014, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is broadcast live on ABC at 8:00 PM-7 PM Central. The event was organized by Ludacris.
Justin Timberlake won 7 of his 11 nominations, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top 200 Billboard Artist for 20/20 Experience . Other winners include Imagine Dragons who won five of the 12 nominations and Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I. scored four trophies each. Lorde has 12 nominations. Katy Perry has 10 nominations, including top artists, top female artists and Hot 100. Miley Cyrus received nine nominations, including top artist, top woman, Hot 100 artist and top streaming artist. Macklemore & amp; Ryan Lewis has eight nominations, including a top duo/group. At the ceremony, Jennifer Lopez received the Icon Award.
The 2014 Music Billboard award was produced by Dick Clark Productions. Allen Shapiro and Mike Mahan are executive producers, with Barry Adelman, Mark Bracco, and Larry Klein as producers.
