"It's Time " is a song by American rock band Imagine Dragons, taken from EP 2011 band It's Time , major major label EP Advanced Silence > and their main studio debut album Night Visions (2012) The song's production was handled by Brandon Darner, and his lyrics portray narrator resistance to change in the face of a massive turbulence.
The single was made before the recruitment of Daniel Platzman, and also before the departure of Andrew and Brittany Tolman. The song was first uploaded to YouTube on December 20, 2010, but does not receive official official release until 2012.

Video musik
The music video debuted on April 17, 2012, on all of MTV's affiliates and the band was named PUSH Artist of the Week and later featured on PUSH Live. The first teaser was released on March 28, 2012. The video also reached # 1 on Top Yahoo Music Videos.
The video begins with the band walking through the barren land under the dark and frightening sky. The sky began to grow more turbulent as the band walked past flags and wrecked boats, crumbling bridges, and dead trees. Bassist McKee opened the box he was carrying and the pale light shone from within. The band eliminates gravel-sized, glowing balls from the box. The band members dug a hole for it with their hands, and then dropped the ball to the ground. Vocalist Dan Reynolds then shouted, and in the ensuing scene the band members were shown fleeing from their excavation site. The big bang throws Reynolds into the air where it seems to float (similar to the album cover of Continuing Quiet ). Finally, the sky began to part and the sun shone.
The music video was produced by Todd Makurath and directed by Anthony Leonardi III. Ian Clemmer, who created some visual effects, wrote on his website that he was "asked to make a big smoke blast in a short amount of time, this is the final shoot of the video...."
