Alexander Grant (born August 27, 1982), professionally known as Alex da Kid , is a British music producer from Wood Green, London. She has gained recognition for producing several hit singles for a number of artists in various musical genres, such as Dr. Dre ("I Need a Doctor"), Nicki Minaj ("Massive Attack"), BoB ("Aircraft" featuring Hayley Williams), Eminem ("Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna), Diddy ("Coming Home "with Dirty Money featuring Skylar Gray), Imagine Dragons (" Radioactive ") and Cheryl (" Under The Sun ").
Although he now lives in Los Angeles, the Evening Standard named him one of the "Most Influential People in London of 2011." She has been nominated for various Grammy Awards including "Album of the Year" for her work at Rihanna's Loud . The record label, KIDinaKORNER, is part of Interscope Records.
In 2013 and 2014, Grant (as the owner of KIDinaKORNER Records) was selected by Billboard Magazine for "Top 40 Under 40."
In 2016, Grant released his first solo project as an artist. Single, "Not Easy" features X Ambassadors, Elle King and Wiz Khalifa via KIDinaKORNER/RCA Records. The song is written and produced by Alex da Kid for KIDINAORNER, Sam Harris, Casey Harris, Adam Levine, Elle King, and Wiz Khalifa. In 2017, Grant released his second song, "American Funeral" which is a collaboration co-written with Joseph Angel.
In the cover story of Music Connection magazine since January 2015, Grant said, as a producer, he co-wrote everything he did with the artists.

Grant was a professional footballer, playing for Bristol City until he was 19, at which time a friend introduced him to FruityLoops digital music editing software, which spurred interest in music production. He then studied at the University of West London (UWL) to study toward a master's degree in Audio Technology, now called Advanced Music Technology.
Jessica Rivera, Universal Music Music Group, first heard about her through Grant's lawyer, Scott Felcher. On request, Grant sent Rivera some of his music, and the publishing executives then linked his reaction with HitQuarters: "I was immediately struck that this man had something different to bring to the table...
