The folding board , also referred to as FBB or the DIN Standard 19303 code of GC or UC, is a paperboard class made of several layers of chemical and mechanical pulp. This class consists of mechanical slurries between two layers of chemical pulp. The top layer is a bleached chemical pulp with an optional pigment layer. It is a low density material with high stiffness and has a slight yellow color, especially on the inside. The main use of folding boxboards is health and beauty products, frozen, cold and other foods, confectionary, pharmaceuticals, graphic use and cigarettes.
